Oliver Jung, previously Member of the Executive Board Operations Worldwide, Manufacturing Methods Development and Purchasing is appointed to top management committee Georg Schaeffler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG: The appointment reflects the importance of Manufacturing and Purchasing Manufacturing for Schaeffler AG Oliver Jung (51), previously Member of the Executive Board Operations Worldwide, Manufacturing Methods Development, and Purchasing, was today appointed to the Central Executive Board of Schaeffler AG by the Supervisory Board. Oliver Jung joined the Schaeffler Group in 2008 after previously working at Robert Bosch GmbH and Schmitz Cargobull AG. In addition to his responsibilities in Operations Worldwide and Manufacturing Methods Development, he most recently took over responsibility for the company's global Purchasing from Dr. Gerhard Schuff, who entered retirement.
