Because Turkish demand is still weak , the market is expected in March German scrap prices will continue to decline, shredded scrap prices fell 10-20 Euro / ton to 250-255 euros / tonne. 

 

Traders said the Turkish scrap demand remains weak, at the end of the election before the local mills in no hurry to purchase, which makes German scrap export market downturn. Currently an adequate supply of scrap, but if scrap prices continue to fall, it may effect scrap steel collecting.

 

In addition,  German rebar steel prices falling  also effect the scrap steel price .  Germany  local mills need to search order for  March rebar producing .although there is a certain demand on the market, but buyers are still waiting for prices to drop further.
