Nigeria Customs began to impose 70% tariffs on imported cars

 Nigeria local media reports,  according to Nigerian federal government's new policy on imported vehicles, Nigeria began full implementation of policies to  impose  70% import tariffs on cars. Accordingly, under the new policy, importers and distributors  should  pay  20% and 2%  tax for a new car ;and now they need to pay a 35% tax, respectively, so that the overall tax rate of 70%. It is said: Nigeria Customs has issued a circular calling for immediate implementation of the new Customs policy, without any delay.
